Our team of support workers do everything they can to help people live the life they want.
For many people, good quality home support is vital in helping them live more independently. Our services cater for older people, adults with physical disabilities, people living with dementia.
On average our team is caring for around 350 people in the area, but we never forget to tailor our service around the individual needs of our customers. Our team has a huge amount of experience which helps them deliver a flexible service which fits in around people’s needs and lifestyles. We believe our approach can help give people greater independence allowing them to live a much more fulfilling life.
However, we’re always looking to do more. We’ve got many more developments coming soon to improve standards and reduce delays. For example, we’re bringing in a special centre for people with dementia.
To find out more about the services we offer, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our team will be happy to help.
Meet the manager
Dawn Selwood explains how she transferred her experience in retail management to the world of care.
I’ve been working in the Wolverhampton branch for around 16 years – that’s a long time and it’s amazing to see how the service has developed in that time. To this day, I still love coming in to work – to know I’m helping people in their rehabilitation and to lead more fulfilling lives. To see the people we work with developing more independence is what makes this job special.
I’d describe myself as passionate – I think you have to be to do this job – as well as being logical and innovative. Those are three qualities which I think are important in this role. I’ve always tried to make sure that the work we do here comes with a great attitude, commitment and real values focused around what’s best for the people we care for. I’m always careful to ensure that the people who come to work here also share those values.
I don’t have that much spare time, but what I have is devoted to my lovely grand daughter. It’s always important to get out and have some quality time with the family.
